Our Training Options
First Aid at Work (FAW)
Duration: 3 Days
Ideal For: Designated workplace first aiders in medium to high-risk environments.
Capacity: Up to 12 participants
- Course Content:
Roles and responsibilities of a first aider - Assessing an incident and casualty
- CPR and AED use
- Managing injuries (bleeding, fractures, burns)
- Illnesses (shock, seizures, asthma, diabetes)
- Legal requirements and reporting
Assessment: Practical demonstrations and multiple-choice questions
Certification: Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (valid for 3 years)
FAW Requalification
Duration: 2 Days
Ideal For: Existing first aiders renewing certification before expiry.
Capacity: Up to 12 participants
Content: Full FAW syllabus condensed into refresher format
Assessment: Practical and written tests
Certification: Level 3 Award renewal
Paediatric First Aid
Duration: 2 Days
Ideal For: Childcare providers, schools, and nurseries
Capacity: Up to 12 participants
- Course Content:
Infant and child CPR - Choking, bleeding, burns
- Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
- Illnesses and injuries specific to children
Certification: Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
Duration: 1 Day
Ideal For: Low-risk workplaces or additional first aid cover
Capacity: Up to 12 participants
- Course Content:
Primary survey and casualty assessment - CPR and AED
- Managing bleeding, burns, and minor injuries
Assessment: Practical and written
Certification: Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
Annual Refresher
Duration: Half-Day
Ideal For: Maintaining confidence and competence between full courses
Capacity: Up to 12 participants
Content: CPR, AED, and key emergency skills
Basic Life Support & AED
Duration: Half-Day
Ideal For: Anyone needing CPR and defibrillator skills
Capacity: Up to 12 participants
Content: Adult CPR, Safe AED use and Recovery Position
Paediatric First Aid
Duration: 2 Days
